Who is Mary?
Mary relocated from Chicago to the Coachella Valley after her
very first visit in November 2006; upon arriving, she knew this
was the place for her! Mary brings with her the quality and
care standards demanded by the Michigan Avenue Salon where
Mary worked before coming to the Inland Empire.
Mary was a successful, Award Winning Graphic Designer for
over twenty years before she decided it was time for a career
change. Beauty School was a natural choice for her. She
graduated from the Cosmetology School at Harry S.Truman
College in Chicago, Illinois with a 4.0 GPA and as selected as
Class Valedictorian. Mary also placed 6th in the Illinois State
Cosmetology Student Competition in the Nails Category.
Mary's Graphic Arts background comes into play each time
she services a client. Form, shape and color are all essential
considerations for a successful beauty service. Mary has been
using these elements in her graphic designs throughout her
career, giving her a definitive edge in her ability to give her
clients the right haircut, style and color suited exactly for
them. She does this by taking into account the client's skin
color, facial shape and existing hair color.
